Offline NT Password & Registry Editor

Check this. Today I uninstalled Windows XP SP2.
I beta tested SP2RC2 and after installing SP2 (without uninstalling RC2) I *let’s put it this way* wasn’t happy with it.
However… After uninstalling SP2 my keyboard, mouse, touchscreen (it’s all USB) didn’t work.
The only way of input I could think of were the hardware buttons on top of my Tablet PC, which allowed me to press Ctrl-Alt-Delete and Enter.
My username was still there, but there was NO WAY I could enter the password.
So I downloaded the bootdisk (check link below). Funny enough all of the input devices I just mentioned were functioning properly running Linux that booted off the bootdisk and allowed me to reset my password to blank.
After successfully logging on with the blank password, Windows started to recognize all my hardware and as I’m writing this piece I even reinstalled my password.
Pffffff. Thank Open Source there’s Linux! 🙂
